AUSTIN -- Friends and family filled into the Cook Walden Funeral Home in North Austin Monday night to say goodbye to a 13-year-old girl who died on New Year's Day.

Sophia Martinez attended Garcia Middle School. Her family said she was loving, outgoing and full of laughter.

"She is very beautiful, and I just can't believe this has happened and she is gone so young," said Sophia's sister Brianna.

Austin police said the teenager died after a night of heavy drinking at a home on Lambs Lane.

The two men who lived there, both 23, are accused of providing Martinez and her friend with alcohol.

The men are now nowhere to be found. The Lonestar Fugitive Task Force is looking for them and U.S. Marshals say they could be hiding in Mexico.

Jose Garcia-Zavala is wanted for a parole violation and Mario Angeles Hernandez is charged with child endangerment.

"I want them to be arrested. I want them to just sacrifice for what they did. She is so young and she didn't deserve this," said Brianna Martinez. "I just wish all this would come to an end, and someone would come out and say what happened."

Sophia Martinez will be buried Tuesday morning at a cemetery in South Austin.

To help with the family's funeral expenses you can donate to Bank of America account number 586 03138 7504 in the name of Sylvia Vasquez.
