AUSTIN -- The symbolic guitar is up and marks the entrance to this year's Austin City Limits music festival at Zilker Park.
Seventy-five thousand music lovers are expected to attend ACL daily.
Thursday hundreds of vendors put the finishing touches on their booths. The stages are up, and the food trailers are already in place.
At the airport, festival fans from around the country have already started arriving and said they are ready for their favorite weekend of the year.
"It is one of the biggest music festivals in Austin, and we have heard only wonderful things about Austin. So good music, good people, good barbecue, why not?" Haleema Dalal said. She is visiting from Miami.
ACL first started in 2002.
