TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas -- Several area counties have lifted their burn bans.
Fire Marshal Hersel Lee said Wednesday that the Travis County ban, which was scheduled to end on April 24, has been lifted early due to recent rains. For more inforation click here.
Hays County also lifted its burn ban on Wednesday until further notice. The county judge says residents should still practice safe burning procedures. Click here for more information.
County Judge Dan A. Gattis also lifted the burn ban for Williamson County on Wednesday.
Officials say no outdoor burning of combustible materials is allowed during Red Flag Warning Days.
