Three people face charges of carrying a weapon into a Del Valle ISD school, after a gun was found in a locker earlier this week.
Travis County sheriff’s deputies say a teacher alerted authorities about the gun at Del Valle High School on Monday.
The gun was a small caliber semi-automatic pistol, according to sheriff’s officials, and bullets were found with it.
The three suspects were charged with possession of a firearm in places where weapons are prohibited, a 3rd degree felony.
Two of the suspects – Abiel Cedano and Ernest Cruz – are 17 and will be charged as adults.
The third suspect is a juvenile.
