Many have heard about the legendary Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells outside of Fort Worth. In its heyday, the magnificient getaway catered to guests from across the globe the famous like Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich, and Clark Gable enjoyed their stay, and the infamous, like Bonnie and Clyde, had rooms there as well. The Baker closed in 1972, and has been sitting neglected for years.
Now the hotel is about to get a major renovation, but some believe many who worked and stayed at the Baker never checked out.
