BASTROP COUNTY, Texas -- The Texas Rangers are now investigating a taser incident at Cedar Creek High School which left a student in a coma for nearly a week.

Bastrop County Deputy Randy McMillan tased 17-year-old Noe Nino De Rivera at the school on Nov. 20. De Rivera's family told KVUE that he hit his head when he fell.

Deputies McMillan and Timothy Stalcup serve as school resource officers. They broke up a fight between two girls just before McMillan tased De Rivera.
