If you hear loud booms Wednesday and Thursday near Bastrop, do not be alarmed.
The Texas Army National Guard is undergoing training at Camp Swift that started at 7 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m. on both days.
They warn explosions will result in loud booms and pillars of smoke, but say all safety precautions will be observed. There should be no environmental or health impact on the local population.
