BLANCO, Texas – Authorities arrested a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Monday night in Blanco.

Joseph Daniel Krueger, 36, was wanted for parole violation. Krueger, a Texas Mexican Mafia gang member, was discovered hiding inside a vehicle outside a Blanco residence and was taken into custody without incident.

DPS said he was in possession of a small amount of suspected heroin.

Krueger was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which includes the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the arrest was not the result of a tip.
 
So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested eight Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders.
