Cold front brings temperatures in the 40s to Austin area

AUSTIN -- A cold front brought freezing temperatures and strong winds to Texas.

Monday is expected to be clear and windy with a high of 47 degrees. The low could hit 28 degrees. Experts say parts of the Hill Country could see temperatures hit under 20 degrees.

 

 

Colder temperatures are expected Tuesday with lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s.

Temperatures should heat up a bit and reach a high of 69 degrees over the weekend. Lows will stay in the 40s and 50s.
