AUSTIN -- Austin police and Travis County sheriff's deputies are investigating gruesome sex crimes against teens. One case happened at the Budget Inn off I-35 and Rundberg.

Adam Nance has lived there five years.

"It was not the place you wanted to be. Seriously. There were people doing drugs, prostitutes, kind of a bad flavor. Now you don't really see that anymore," said Nance.

According to an arrest affidavit, a 15-year-old runaway from Irving, Texas says two adults brought her to the Budget Inn, where she says they both sexually assaulted her.

The affidavit says she was scared and force into sex acts. She narrowly escaped by flagging down a security guard.

Investigators arrested Eric Conner and Tasha Morrison. They say Morrison held down the girl while Conner assaulted her.

An employee of the hotel didn't want to show his face but says the hotel has made efforts to improve security.

"We're trying to run a legitimate business. Sometimes they sneak in at night," said the employee.

Investigators in Travis County are looking into another case of sexual assault against a teen runaway.

Investigators say the cases are not linked.

"For this area I wouldn't say I"m surprised. This is known as a bad place in Austin. But it does disappoint me. Just the human race in general, that people could be so cruel to violate somebody, kinda blows my mind," said Nance.

Austin police believe these were all isolated incidents. If you have any information about any other vicitms, call police.
