AUSTIN -- More than 1,000 fifth and six graders took over the State Capitol Thursday for a Red Ribbon Rally.

This year they wore mustaches as part of a message to their fellow students, "I mustache [must ask] you not to do drugs."

The kids represent the Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Corpus Christi areas.

This is the 16th year for the Red Ribbon Rally against drugs and alcohol.
