AUSTIN -- According to the Travis County Fire Marshal, the Steiner Ranch wildfire probably started when two electrical wires touched.
That September 2011 fire destroyed 23 homes.
The fire marshal said it started on an empty lot when those wires sent sparks onto dry grass. Then strong winds carried it across 620.
