Light snow is possible in parts of the Hill Country from late Thursday to early Friday. There will be little to no accumulation.
Travel issues are not expected.
Cloudy skies expected Thursday in Central Texas, including Austin. Some of those clouds could turn to snow or a mix of snow and rain.
Temperatures may be a degree or two warmer Thursday compared to Wednesday. But it is really late Thursday night and early Friday morning when an upper level disturbance moves across Central Texas. That's when we can start to see some precipitation. Initially the precipitation could start as rain but it could cool of and produce a mix of rain and snow.
Temperatures will be a little two warm for anything to stick around in the Travis Country area.
Even Hill Country accumulations should be pretty light.
Less than an inch of snow is expected in parts of Hill Country. Part of the area to the north and west towards San Angelo may see one to two inches of snow.
