GEORGETOWN, Texas -- The Georgetown Police Department says an accused child predator has been caught in North Austin.

Mark Anthony Rabadan, 32, is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual assault of a child.

Police say Rabadan was found by the Williamson County Fugitive Task Force around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Super 8 Motel near I-35 and Rundberg Lane.

He was arrested for two outstanding warrants of continuous sexual abuse of a child and two counts of sexual assault of a child. On Wednesday Georgetown police obtained two more warrants listing two more child victims.

According to an affidavit filed in Williamson County last week, Rabadan abused an 11-year-old for nearly a year.

“Our commitment to join forces and aggressively root out sexual predators will remain a priority in our effort to defend those who can’t defend themselves," U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas Robert R. Almonte said.

Police say Rabadan is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail.
