AUSTIN -- The Austin Independent School District school board is trying to figure out what to do with a vacant campus in East Austin.

Allan Elementary closed its doors in May when the school year ended. The campus is now vacant, and AISD has several possible plans for the school.

Some of the proposed ideas include leasing out the campus, turning it into adminstrative offices, or renovating it and opening it as a regular elementary school.

The district says it could use the space to relieve over-crowding at other schools.

The discussions pick up Monday night at AISD headquarters. Go here for more information.
