SAN MARCOS, Texas -- San Marcos is implementing a no-sprinkler rule on Monday for the second time this month as part of continuing Stage 3 water restrictions.
Under these rules, residents are only allowed to use sprinklers during alternating weeks on designated days and times. Sprinklers will not be allowed the week of August 26-30. This is the second time this month that sprinklers have not been allowed in San Marcos.
Residents can use a handheld hose or bucket any day before 10 a.m. and after 8 p.m.
Residents are not allowed to wash their cars at home or fill up personal swimming pools.
