SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Fire crews worked to put out a structure fire Saturday which destroyed a detached garage and two cars.
Officials say the fire broke out in the garage at 1134 W. Hopkins Street just after 6:30 a.m. Fire crews had the flames under control by 7 a.m. and stopped them from spreading to the owner's house and other nearby structures.
Fire crews say there were no injures. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but damage is estimated at $35,000.
