Round Rock middle school gets new principal

Round Rock ISD's Cedar Valley Middle School has a new principal.
According to the district, John Yonker has 15 years experience as an elementary school principal and an assistant principal at middle and high schools. He has a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a master's in educational administration from Sam Houston State.
Parents and students are invited to meet Yonker Thursday. He will be at the school's library from 8 to 9:30 a.m, and again from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
