It happened following a road rage incident that began at the HEB on East Riverside drive and ended at 1700 Burton Drive, just south of East Riverside Dr.

The suspect parked on the street near an apartment complex, and exchanged words with the driver of the second vehicle in the complex parking lot. Then the suspect stabbed the other driver and fled.

The victim was stabbed multiple times and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with non life-threatening injuries.
