AUSTIN -- A state lawmaker facing DWI charges was in a Travis County courtroom Friday morning.
Representative Naomi Gonzalez of El Paso was in court long enough to have a pre-trial proceeding reset to Jan. 10. She's accused of driving drunk in March when she crashed into a car, which then hit and injured a cyclist.
An arrest affidavit shows Gonzalez had a blood alcohol level two times the legal limit.
Gonzalez remains remorseful about the incident, as she did when she apologized on the House floor after the incident.
