AUSTIN -- Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a man accused of exposing himself near school campuses.

Police say they have received two reports of a black male in his early 20s exposing himself near Lake Creek Parkway near Westwood High School and Grisham Middle School.

Police say the first exposure incident occured at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 9 at Lake Creek Parkway and Hickory Stick Cove. The second occurred on Jan. 23 at 7:56 a.m. in the 10800 block of School House Lane. Police said in both instances the man was standing in the street or in the bushes on Lake Creek Parkway.

Police described the suspect as a black male, approximately 20 years old and 6' tall. They said he has a thin build and a medium beard. He was last seen wearing white basketball shorts, a hoodie sweatshirt and a plaid mountain cap.

A release from Grisham Middle School on March 24 urged parents to instruct their children that if they see the man, to not communicate or make contact with him and to get to school or home quickly to inform an adult.

Police first released this information at the beginning of February. They're asking again for anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the Austin Police Department's Child Abuse Unit at (512) 974-6880.
