AUSTIN -- Just before 9 p.m. Saturday armed robbers hit two businesses off Research Boulevard. Then they targeted two drivers not far from there. Police say it all happened in under one hour.

The two men, armed with handguns, started at a Pizza Hut off Research Boulevard. Employees couldn't talk on camera, but told KVUE it happened fast, and thankfully no one got hurt.

"He just said they came in, took money and left. Real quick, showed the gun," said Kendrick Jones, who works in the same complex.

Thirty minutes later the robbers went to the Jenny Day Spa just a few miles down the road. The owner also said everyone is OK.

Moments later the robbers held a taxi driver at gunpoint outside of a hotel in the Arboretum. Then they attacked a pizza delivery driver on Great Hills Trail.

People who work nearby say it's a safe area, and they're surprised to hear this happened.

"When I heard about the robbery last night at Pizza Hut it really shocked me; really, really, really took me aback," said Jones. "We just have to try to keep on moving. The area's not going bad, just seems like a bad incident."

Police are looking for two African-American men in their early 20s. They are about 5'9" or 5'10". One wore a blue hoodie and black jeans. The other wore a black hoodie and blue jeans. Both gunmen also had on black masks and gloves.

"I'm going to be a little more cautious about keeping my doors locked, keeping a watch out around the store where I work," explained Jones.

At this time no vehicle description has been released.

If you have any information that might help call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS.
