AUSTIN -- Police are looking for witnesses after a shooting at 2700 Gracy Farms Lane near MoPac Expressway and Duval Road in North Austin.

The call came into Austin police just before 5:30 p.m. Friday. Police say they found a black male in his 30s with a gunshot wound in his leg. He was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Austin Police Investigators say they spent much of the evening Friday talking to witnesses and hoping to get a clearer picture as to what happened.

However, by late Friday evening, there was no arrest and no one in custody.

"At this time, we're not actively searching for anyone else. We believe this is an isolated incident. The neighborhoods are safe and we believe we have everybody that we're interested in talking to at this point in time," said Austin Police Corporal Wut Tantaksinanukij.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Austin Police.
