AUSTIN -- A man who died in a North Austin crash, which left four others injured, has been identified by police.

Eduardo De Leon, 20, died Sunday when the SUV he was driving ran off the northbound Interstate 35 service road near Braker Lane and hit a wooden pole just before 2 a.m.

Four others in the SUV were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge. Two had serious injuries. The other two reportedly had minor injuries.

Police will not say if alcohol was a factor in the crash. They are trying to figure out why the SUV ran off the road.
