AUSTIN -- Two people are recovering after a shooting in downtown Austin early Friday morning.

Just before 2 a.m. police received a call about shots being fired in the 300 block of West 5th Street near Lavaca. Investigators say an argument began inside the club before spreading to the street.

Two people were shot during the incident. They are now recovering at University Medical Center Brackenridge with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. Investigators were hoping nearby HALO surveillance cameras would have footage, but they did not capture the incident.
