Fatal accident
AUSTIN -- One person has been killed in a fiery accident in East Austin.
It happened on Sara Drive near Berger Street off of Springdale Road around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the driver lost control and ran off the road, crashing into a concrete drainage ditch. The car then burst into flames.
Firefighters responded to put out the fire. They found one person inside the car dead.
Detectives are still investigating to determine what may have caused the crash.
