AUSTIN -- More protesters will head to City Hall Monday. They're being called "oil zombies," and they are taking part in a Halloween themed protest scheduled against the Keystone KL tar sands pipeline.
Protesters say they will dress as oil zombies Monday from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
The Keystone XL pipeling is a plan in the works that would carry crude oil from Canada all the way to Southeast Texas. Many people protested the pipeline at the University of Texas last month.
Supporters say it would create 3,000 new jobs. opponents say it would create environmental dangers. The U.S. Department of State is expected to make a decision on the pipeline by 2011.
