AUSTIN -- The Occupy Austin movement has a new camp, named after a Sesame Street character.
They are calling it Camp Big Bird. A handful of people stayed overnight at the new camp off South Congress Avenue and St. Elmo Road.
Residents there say the tent area will provide a secure place where people can feel safe.
The move comes after at least three Occupy Austin members were arrested for trying to reorganize a new occupation in North Austin.
