TRAVIS COUNTY -- The general manager of The OASIS Restaurant on Lake Travis wanted to clear up some confusing information surfacing Thursday.

Jonathan Silva, said contrary to prior reports, the OASIS is not under foreclosure.

Silva told KVUE that the OASIS has had one of the best years yet.

“The OASIS Restaurant is absolutely not under foreclosure, in fact about four months ago the owner turned over the reins to me the new general manager and the new chef. He's gone a whole new different direction with everything trying to become a little more “Austin-y”, a little younger so we're actually having the best year we've ever had,” Silva said.

Silva said it’s actually the Oasis Texas, a row of shops in front of the OASIS restaurant which are now up for foreclosure.

Court paperwork shows the property owners owe nearly $19 million to the bank.

No one from the Oasis Texas was available to talk to KVUE by the time of the 10 p.m. newscast.
