AUSTIN -- Non-profit organizations that want Google Fiber are running out of time to apply for the Internet service.

It was announced in April that Google Fiber is coming to Austin.

Mayor Lee Leffingwell and Councilwoman Laura Morrison will make an announcement Tuesday that there are 20 days left for non-profit groups to apply for Google Fiber through Austin's Community Connection Program.

The program will give 100 sites Google Fiber for free through the year 2023.

For an application go here.
