NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- A woman was arrested Friday morning on a charge of sexual assault of a child.
Police arrested 38-year-old Valorie Martinez Baker of New Braunfels at 10 a.m. following an investigation prompted after an outcry by the teenage victim.
According to the press release from New Braunfels Police Department, the 15-year-old boy told police Baker had "inappropriate sexual contact" with him on December 21, 2012.
Baker was a friend of the victim's family, according to the press release.
Baker was booked at the Comal County Sheriff’s Office and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
