WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas -- Austin police say 41-year-old Scott MacFarland lead them on a chase through parts of North Austin in Williamson County while high on meth, naked and covered in a greasy substance.

Police were called to the Value Place Hotel at 183 and Highway 45 for a naked man sitting in a Jeep.

The chase reached speeds of 80 miles an hour before stop sticks caused the Jeep MacFarland was driving to roll into a ditch.

At first police had trouble arresting him, because he was slippery from the grease he was covered in.

MacFarland's being held in the Williamson County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated, evading arrest and possession.
