AUSTIN -- Nearly five years after his death, the mother of a hit and run victim is pleading for closure.

"My son was a Marine, no man left behind, three tours in Iraq. He was home no less than 83 days before he was struck and killed," said mother Dayton Williams.

In February 2008, police say a driver hit Williams' son, 32-year-old Tyrell Seth Williams, on Waters Park Drive in Northwest Austin and kept going. Police have not made an arrest.

Since 2005 the Austin Police Department reports 30 unsolved cases of failure to stop and render aid that have resulted in someone's death.
