AUSTIN -- A close call for an Austin police officer with a man who investigators said set his own house on fire.
Police said when they arrived Wednesday afternoon they could see flames on the second floor of a home on Dagon Drive. They said U Than Bana was standing at the top of the stairs.
Investigators said Bana swung a club at an officer several times before jumping out a second floor window.
Officers arrested him outside.
