SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Police say a man was killed walking across the highway earlier this week.
The incident happened on Interstate 35 around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say Edward Perez, 62, was struck by a Ford Focus driving south on I-35. The driver and her two children stopped at the scene. No charges were filed.
An investigation continues into the fatal accident. This is San Marcos' 12th traffic fatality of the year.
