AUSTIN -- A car accident has left one person in critical condition.
Police say the driver lost control and hit a light pole in Central Austin, just south of West Koenig Lane and North Lamar Boulevard around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
The driver was taken to UMC Brackenrdige with serious injuries.
Lanes were shut down in the area as police investigated.
