GEORGETOWN, Texas -- Students at Purl Elementary in Georgetown had to "shelter in place" Friday morning. That means outside doors were locked, but no regular activities were disrupted.
According to the school district, police answered a call about a man walking through the nearby neighborhood dressed in camouflage, carrying a rifle.
Officers responded where they arrested 28-year-old Georgetown resident Jerrid Wilha for an outstanding warrant out of Travis County.
This incident not involve the school, and students were never in any danger.
