AUSTIN -- We could learn more by the end of Friday about the future of University of Texas football coach Mack Brown.
He is reportedly meeting with the athletic director and university president, and the rumors are swirling again. According to OrangeBloods.com, the trio is meeting Friday afternoon.
Brown spoke out Thursday, making his first public comments since reports of his resignation came out. He said his job status "has not changed," but he hinted at possible changes coming up.
Brown said any time the athletic director at a university changes, so does the game.
He also told reporters that he would like to sit down with new AD Steve Patterson and President Bill Powers to talk about where the team and the football program are going.
Friday night is also banquet night for the UT football program.
