AUSTIN -- With Thanksgiving out of the way, many are starting to decorate for the Christmas holiday.
As tradition continues, trees along the Capital of Texas Highway in West Austin are already decorated.
Tom Pagel decided dressing up one more tree wouldn't hurt, especially for a chance to bring three generations together.
"It definitely gets you in the holiday spirit," laughed Pagel's daughter Catie as she taught her two children, Turner and Savannah, the best decorating strategy.
In the end each tree symbolized a different family's message, shared by all.
"This is kind of nice to do it for everybody else to enjoy," said Pagel. "It's really a nice feeling to have your own kids decorating these trees it seems like sometimes soon we're going to run out of trees."
One can only hope.
