LEANDER, Texas -- Water restrictions have increased to Stage 2 for another Central Texas city.
Leander will begin mandatory Stage 2 water conservation starting Sept. 2. City officials say because of low lake levels, the Lower Colorado River Authority has asked customers to implement the restrictions.
Residents will not be allowed to water between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and certain addresses can only water lawns on certain days.
