LEANDER, Texas -- Two men have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery for an incident that took place Wednesday.
Leander police are investigating the robbery that occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on 3300 block of S. Bagdad Road.
According to the Leander Police Department press release, the victim said he was walking through a field with two known male subjects when the men pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his phone and money.
The victim said he was able to get away unharmed.
During a search of the area, officers located the two suspects who police identified as 18-year-old Dominic Patrick Funari and 19-year-old Adrian Michael Guetlein.
The handgun, a firearm replica CO2 BB pistol, was also located and recovered.
Funari and Guetlein were arrested on scene and transported to Williamson County Jail without incident.
They are awaiting magistration before a judge.
If convicted, Funari and Guetlein could face imprisonment for life, or 5 to 99 years.
