Austin Police investigated a break-in Saturday morning after a woman found an intruder insider her apartment.
The break-in happened around 4:30 a.m. off Metric Boulevard near Austin Community College in North Austin.
Police said after the woman saw the man, she screamed for help. The man ran out of the apartment, leaving through a sliding glass door.
Since it was at night, the woman did not get a good look at the intruder.
There was a similar crime that happened earlier this week in West Campus.
Both attacks happened around 4 a.m.
Police are not saying whether the crimes are connected, and are treating Saturday morning's crime as a burglary.
