HUTTO -- A Hutto business owner is recovering after being stung by dozens of bees. It happened in a lot right next to the new city hall.
The City of Hutto asked him to tear down an old building on the land, but when he started working, he disrupted a hive.
"We went to jerk the wall out, and the next thing I knew, bees were all over me," bee victim Roy McCrary said. "I got stung; I don't know how many times, probably 50 times."
He called out Central Texas Bee Rescue. They came to remove the hive safely and without hurting the bees.
