No injuries in Burnet house fire

BURNET -- City of Burnet fire crews are monitoring for hot spots Tuesday after fire burns through a home. Fire crews are trying to find out what started the overnight fire.

The fire started around 9 p.m. Monday night on the corner of Tate Street and North Main Street in Burnet.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the fire, but according to Police Chief Paul Nelson the fire badly damaged the house.

Nearby residents were asked to leave their homes as firefighters battled the blaze.
 

Chief nelson says crews will estimate how much damage was done and the cause of the fire.
