AUSTIN -- The University of Texas is kicking off a new semester Tuesday night with a big celebration.
Thousands of students are expected to head to the UT tower for the annual Gone to Texas rally.
The rally will show new students the university's traditions, values and honor code. There will be live music, including a performance by the Longhorn band. The tower will also be lit up in burnt orange in honor of the new students.
Classes start on Wednesday.
