An employee of the Georgetown School District is accused of stealing thousands from the district.
According to police, Ollie Ann Pool worked in the athletic department. She is accused of stealing $66,000 in event proceeds between April and August of this year.
The Austin American-Statesman reports Pool was arrested Monday and later posted bail.
The district fired her on Monday.
