WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas -- A Williamson County sheriff's deputy is on paid administrative leave while an investigation looks into his arrest.
Deputy Jimmie Ray Ortiz, 44, was arrested on Nov. 30 and charged with theft.
He was found cutting up a fallen metal light pole on the side of I-35.
