A former Travis County jailer will be heading to court to face murder charges.
On Wednesday a grand jury indicted Chad Lum on four charges. In addition to murder, he is also charged with three aggravated assaults with a deadly weapon.
Lum is accused of shooting and killing a family friend at his Briarcliff house this past April. The victim was 46-year-old Michael Rendon.
Lum will be back in court July 23rd to enter his plea. He remains out on bond.
