AUSTIN -- A former psychiatrist at the Austin State Hospital  already indicted on charges of indecency with a child has been arrested for public lewdness.

According to his arrest affidavit, on Tuesday afternoon a police officer saw 60-year-old Charles Fischer walk into a wooded area with another man.

It happened off Rollingwood Drive in Southwest Austin just west of Zilker Park. The officer saw them having sex and arrested Fischer. The other man ran off.

Fischer worked at the Austin State Hospital for 21 years. Administratoirs fired him in November 2011 after he was accused of sexually assaulting children in his care. Those cases have not yet gone to trial.
