AUSTIN -- According to the Texas Food Bank Network, one in five Texas households is struggling to buy food. The demand often goes up during the holiday season.

Wednesday morning HEB donated a truckload of corn flakes to the Capital Area Food Bank on South Congress. That's enough for 180,000 bowls of cereal.

The company is making similar donations to 15 other food banks across the state, with a total value of $350,000.

If you'd like to help, visit the Capital Area Food Bank to donate online.
